WP 6: Validation and demonstration in operational environments

This WP bridges academic institutions and industry partners, who will use the digital version of their reservoir models across all project phases. The DTCs and workflows developed and integrated in WPs 1-5 will be calibrated and validated in full-scale operational environments at selected sites at TRL 7 – 8. Not all DTCs will be tested at all sites. The demonstration will be a back-and-forth process that starts by selecting appropriate DTCs for each project to allow feedback and improvement loops. GEOTWINS demonstration sites and available data sets include (1) BedrettoLab - CH {hyperlink to each when possible}, (2) Haute-Sorne - CH; (3) Rittershoffen - FR; (4) Soultz-sous-Forêt - FR; (5) Vendenheim - FR; (6) Balmatt – BE; (7) Utah FORGE – USA; (8) Cape Modern, Utah - USA; (9) Lower Rhine Embayment - DE, (10) Dublin - IR; (11) Larderello – IT.
